Paddy brings meaning to the word ‘artist’. She impresses with her unique ability to sing and
play tenor, alto and soprano saxophones, flute and acoustic guitar. By the way, Paddy is also a
freelance illustrator, computer graphic designer and exhibiting fine artist. Wow! Her business is
called: Blue Note Art studio cc and is based in Pretoria.
Since 1980 she has performed both solo and with other musicians e.g. duo,” SEAGULL”, Cecile Naude,
Phil Holder, Martin van der Walt, the duo “Top Hat” with Steve Hurlin , duo with Steven Berliner,
Annelie Hoberg, a SAX Quartet and the “Big Band Quartet” (Trumpet, trombone & two saxes playing
from dixie to favourite big band arrangements) Paddy also performed with the SAP Dance Band
and the SAP Orchestra for a number of years.
